LONDON – builder.AI, a company once lauded for it’s innovative approach to software development and backed by tech giant Microsoft, has initiated insolvency proceedings in the United Kingdom.This development follows revelations that its core platform, marketed as an AI-driven, no-code programming solution, was in fact powered by approximately 700 human engineers based in India.

the company had promised to revolutionize application development with its “Natasha” assistant, which was purported to assemble software from pre-built modules, similar to Lego bricks. However, it has now emerged that customer requests were being fulfilled manually by developers.
