PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara also procured three-wheeled motorbikes to support the operations of the Red and White Village/Subdistrict Cooperative. Some of these needs are obtained from imports.

Apart from imports, three-wheeled motorbikes for the Red and White Kopdes’ needs will be fulfilled by local manufacturers.

“The three-wheeled motorbikes are the same, (a total of) 160 thousand. We have ordered them from all manufacturers in Indonesia,” said the Main Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota when met in Cawang, East Jakarta, Thursday (26/2/2026).

Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota, revealed that his party had actually contacted all three-wheeled motorbike manufacturers in Indonesia. However, the overflowing orders overwhelmed local production lines.

“Viar, Emperor, then Ace, in front there is TVS, they also can’t produce much. We order the rest from outside, we have to import, because they can no longer afford (local production),” he added.

Joao did not explain further what the proportion of procuring three-wheeled motorbikes would be. How much is imported and how much is locally produced.

Regarding the procurement of commercial vehicles which caused a stir, Joao explained that the number of vehicles ordered was 160 thousand units. Consisting of 4×4 pickups totaling 80 thousand units and light trucks also 80 thousand units.

The contract with the Indian brand includes procurement of a total of 105,000 units. A total of 35,000 Scorpio Pik Up units were supplied by Mahindra, while another 70,000 units came from Tata Motors, consisting of 35,000 Yodha Pick-Up units and 35,000 Ultra T.7 Light Truck units.

“Currently it has reached 200, at the end of the month it will be 1,200,” he said.

Meanwhile, the rest comes from manufacturers that already have assembly facilities in Indonesia.

“So 20,600 from Mitsubishi, Foton 13,200, Hino 10,000 and Isuzu 900, we have ordered that,” said Joao.
