In mid-January, six weeks had passed since the end of the year Adrian Szymaniak radiotherapy and chemotherapy. As he explained to his followers on InstaStories, at the end of the therapy there was a chance to participate in special clinical trials. Unfortunately, a follow-up MRI of the head showed little activity at the site of the previously removed tumor.
“On Monday, January 12, I had a check-up MRI of my head, which showed that little activity occurs at the site of tumor excision. I say small here because we are talking about a two/three millimeter change. This completely excluded me from taking part in this study,” he confessed.

Adrian Szymaniak emphasized that clinical trials are intended for people with primary cancer lesions, not recurrences that he himself is dealing with. Therefore, he will undergo further chemotherapy and TTF treatment in the next six months.
At the moment, this change is not big. (…) It’s not even operational. (…) The most important thing is that I am in good shape – mentally, first of all – physically as well
– he added.
Before Adrian’s statement, his wife, Anita, took the floor and posted a moving entry on social media. “Bydgoszcz says goodbye to rain. I won’t say that, because I added a few drops in recent days. It feels like we’re back to square one, but sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward. It’s hard to write anything,” she said on Instagram.
