ADNOC Logistics and Services PLC, listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, announced the appointment of Hugh Baker as CFO of the company, effective today, Monday, January 5, 2026.

According to the company statement, Hugh Baker has extensive experience in the offshore financial sector and capital markets, with more than three decades of experience in the areas of corporate finance, asset finance, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and governance of listed companies.

Prior to joining ADNOC Logistics, Baker was a senior partner at Ellsworth Maritime, where he provided debt advisory services to global shipping companies and represented Decca Bank of Greece in marine lending in North America.

Prior to that, Baker spent ten years as CFO of New York Stock Exchange-listed Initi Inc., where he led financial strategy, capital raising, and investor relations. During his tenure, he successfully executed more than 100 financial and commercial transactions, raising more than $15 billion in capital across debt and equity instruments.

His previous experience also included leadership positions at Scorpio Tankers Inc., Evercore Partners, HSH Nordbank, and ING Bank, where he specialized in offshore asset financing and strategic consulting.

Baker holds a Master’s degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School, a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the London School of Economics, and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
