Previously, users could only send each other a fixed geographic point. From now on, they can access the “ + » attachments to option « Real-time location ». Once the option is selected, users can choose different location durations:
For now, the feature is rolling out to beta users. Google has also put together a support article to present the option, which suggests rapid deployment for all users, reports 9to5Google.
