Train travelers who wanted to take a train from Augsburg to Munich in the early Tuesday afternoon had to be patient. At around 11.20 a.m., train traffic on the route was temporarily stopped.

As a spokesman for the federal police in Munich reported on request, an accident had occurred on the route in the Fürstenfeldbruck district. In the police jargon, a “personal injury” in the track is spoken. According to the spokesman, all six tracks had to be blocked for long-distance and S-train traffic.

Train traffic between Augsburg and Munich started again around 1.30 p.m.
