For loyal GameCube fans, Abxylute brings good news. They have just announced two new controllers for Nintendo Switch 2, namely Abxylute N6 and Abxylute N9C.
Designed specifically to replace the built-in Joy-Con in handheld mode, these two devices will soon begin their campaign on Kickstarter. Made with full ergonomics, motion control, turbo, vibration and deep customization as standard.
Reminisce with Abxylute N9C
The N9C model is a star for retro lovers, this grippy handheld controller offers an iconic layout and mechanical inputs. The design and color scheme are inspired directly from the original GameCube controller. Technically, the N9C has advanced features such as capacitive joysticks and ABXY buttons as well as triggers that use mechanical micro-switches for more precise clicks.
Uniquely, the Abxylute N9C is equipped with a special “C” button to easily access GameChat. For Super Smash Bros. players Ultimate, the N9C’s right stick has a switchable gate to limit movement in eight directions, providing maximum accuracy when executing moves.
Abxylute N6: Modern Performance and Improved Audio

If the Abxylute N9C relies on nostalgia, the Abxylute N6 is a deck-style handheld controller that comes with a more conventional asymmetrical design but is still ergonomic. The main advantage lies in the use of hall effect joysticks which are resistant to drift problems.
Unlike the mechanical Abxylute N9C, the ABXY buttons on the Abxylute N6 use a rubber membrane for a softer feel. Other additional features include two back buttons that can be programmed for macros and a resonance chamber. This unique feature directs audio from the console speakers directly towards the player, while increasing low frequencies (bass) by up to 10%.
Both controllers connect directly to the USB-C port on the bottom of the console to draw power, ensuring a stable connection and low latency. The accessory ecosystem for the Nintendo Switch 2 will continue to grow, even if you have to spend more money, at least there are plenty of options to enhance the gaming experience.
