The Venezuelan Banking Association held the “Employer brand: with passion for talent” meeting, a space that brought together presidents, directors and representatives from various areas of the member banks, to reflect on the new paradigms in talent management and the opportunities offered by the cultural and digital transformation within the banking sector.
The day included two central conferences. Irene Mossiexecutive director of Great Place to Work® Venezuela, who presented the presentation “High-trust leadership: key to great places to work,” in which she highlighted how leaders who inspire by example promote genuine communication and build cultures with purpose and manage to consolidate stronger and more motivated teams.

For her part, the doctor Yorelis Acostapsychologist and research coordinator at CENDES–UCV, gave the talk “Mental health in companies”, where she highlighted the need to incorporate emotional management and psychological well-being as essential components of the organizational strategy.
As part of the program, the Association held a special ceremony to recognize banks that have been certified by Great Place to Work® for the last 20 years, highlighting its commitment to creating work environments where trust, innovation and professional development prevail.
Banplus was awarded for being one of the entities to most frequently obtain GPTW certification over the past five years.
Among the recognized institutions are Activo Banco Universal, Bancamiga, Bancaribe, Banplus, BBVA Provincial, Exterior, Mercantil and Banco de Venezuela, all of them leaders within the sector for the application of good practices in human capital management.
Likewise, special distinctions were awarded in three categories:
– Bankingfor currently occupying the best position in the national ranking of Great Place to Work®.
– Banking y Banplusfor obtaining this certification more frequently during the last five years.
– Outer Bankfor being the banking institution that has received the Great Place to Work® distinction in Venezuela on the most occasions.

During his speech, the executive president of the Association, Pedro Pacheco Rodriguez, highlighted: “The strength of the Venezuelan banking system is also built from the commitment to the people who make it up. Promoting work environments where trust, motivation and human development are priorities is fundamental for the sustainable growth of the sector.”
The meeting reaffirmed the vision of the Venezuelan Banking Association to promote a bank that inspires, innovates, educates, values and promotes the growth of its people, strengthening the employer brand and promoting organizational cultures based on trust, coopetition and excellence.
