[서울=뉴시스] Early reporter = “The audience is a judge or a professor, or a ‘person’ who eventually comes to listen to music. Technical completion is important, but the first thing to convey is a musical message.”
Pianist Juliana Abe Bar, 40, talked about the essence and role of music in a written interview with Newsys ahead of the recital at the Seoul Concert Hall in Seocho -gu, Seoul on the 21st.
“Music is to communicate in a languageless language,” he said. “Whether the stage is a competition, a performance meeting, or a test, the core is the most true and strongly expressing what you feel.”
Avjejeba, a Russian native, first encountered the piano when he was five years old. I studied at the National University of Moscow Grandesin, Russia and the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He received the attention of the world when he won the 16th Chopin International Piano Competition in 2010.
He was the fourth female winner of the Chopin Competition, 45 years after the pianist Martha Argerich.
Like the ‘Chopin Competition winner’, he plays Chopin’s ’24 Jeonju songs’ in this performance. He also plays seven of Shostakovich‘s ’24 Jeonju Puga ‘.
“It may be unfamiliar to put two other composers together with different languages, but if Showstar Kobich has been dealing with Chopin’s music for a long time, it’s interesting to see both worlds together. Most of all, Chopin and Shotstacovich’s preliminary songs started from Bach’s ‘average rhythm clivier song’.”

Avjejeba was the result of ‘musical search’ to showcase a composer on a stage that could not be easily connected.
This process is essentially subjective, but it is called a kind of archaeology. He said, “It goes back to the era of songs, the composer’s life, and the society and the surrounding environment.” The balance between the composer’s will and the voices of the performer is called ‘unique of interpretation’.
Avjeba is actively communicating with the audience outside the stage. He meets the public on his YouTube channel at ‘#avdeevashostakovichproject’. The first start was because of the fan Demick. At the time, he performed 60 times, including playing Bach’s ‘Average Rate Clear Song Collection’.
He said, “I wanted to continue after the performance was resumed, and I learned what people are coming to my performance through online exchanges and what they are listening to and what they are inspired.”
Avjejeba is about to be a new challenge. This year, he will be appointed as a judge of the 19th Chopin International Piano Competition. He also left a message to the participant.
“I’m very excited to go back to the competition. I remember the memory of 2010 so that it feels so long. I’m curious about what emotions will be, but one thing I’m sure is that I’m going to be with every participant on the stage.
