The Pitt won two of the three TV categories at the 2025 AARP Movies for Grownups Awards. The medical drama won Best TV Series or Limited Series, and Noah Wyle won Best Actor. It’s no surprise, given that the HBO Max show has been sweeping award shows like the Emmys and Critics Choice Awards. Doctor shows, people love ‘em! With all this recognition, maybe Dr. Robby will stop riding his motorcycle without a helmet.

As a prognosticator for Oscars glory, the AARP Awards are hit and miss. Last year, A Complete Unknown won the most MFG’s (2), which was not reflected in the Academy Awards. Demi Moore won Best Actress at the AARPies, and we all know how that turned out come Oscar night. But Adrien Brody won Best Actor at both shows. This year’s MFGs bring some new heat for One Battle After Another and Sinners. Although both films lost to Hamnet for Best Movie for Grownups, they each got some hardware. Delroy Lindo won Best Supporting Actor, and the woman scored wins is Best Screenwriter, Best Ensemble, and a Best Supporting Actress statuette for Regina Hall. Below is the full winners list for the 2025 AARP Movies for Grownup Awards.
