On Sunday evening there was a traffic accident on the A6 motorway in Muri near Bern. Shortly before 8 p.m., several vehicles had an accident in a long right-hand bend. The cause of the accident and whether anyone was injured was not yet clear, as BRK News reports. Vehicle debris and broken glass lay several meters away.
Several patrols and the accident service of the Bern cantonal police were deployed. The motorway was completely closed in the direction of Thun for a long time. According to BRK News, the traffic jam grew to several kilometers after 8:15 p.m. Later, the vehicles stuck in traffic were allowed to turn around and drive back to the next exit.
