MISCELLANEOUS FACT – During an intervention to arrest an armed individual, a police car a left the road and injured 5 pedestrians Saturday evening, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. No serious injuries but victims and witnesses as well as police officers are very shocked (see our article of February 6).

Last Saturday, February 3 at 11:15 p.m., a police car, flashing lights and siren running, went down Avenue Mathurin-Moreau at high speed and was about to take a sharp turn on Rue des Chaufourniers in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. . Inside, a crew of four police officers were on their way to arrest an individual armed with a rifle (which turned out to be a shotgun), reported not far away.

At the corner of the avenue and the street, pedestrians chat or smoke a cigarette on the terrace of a café. As he begins his turn, the driver thinks he sees a shadow and swerves the wheel to avoid it. The police vehicle leaves the road and crashes into a metal pole (which is fortunately placed to protect the terrace of the establishment) and into a car at the entrance to rue des Chaufourniers,

Less Contact Means No More Court Costs

A mother objected to the costs decision in a visitation case. Her relationship with her own child was problematic: two years ago, when she was 11, she moved in with her father. After a final contact shortly afterwards, she refused any contact with her mother. She wanted to see her child at least every 14 days from Friday to Sunday and on two public holidays. The father also had no objection to at least an hourly initiation, but refused the youth welfare office any contact with his daughter. The matter went to court. There the child explained that he no longer wanted to have contact with his mother. She hasn’t been feeling well lately. A month after the hearing, the woman withdrew her application. The family court ordered her to pay the costs: Because of the child’s refusal, the request for access had no prospect of success. The complaint was successful.

The Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court canceled the costs against each other (decision of January 25, 2024 – 5 WF 147/23). A case of § 81 Abs. 2 FamFG, according to which the costs of the proceedings are to be borne in whole or in part by one of the parties involved,

State portals do not yet support the new feature. You can partially bypass it and sign a document for the state.

In the article you will learn:

  • Why anyone can create an application for electronic signing of documents with the help of e-citizen.
  • How electronic signing by contactless citizens works with a specific free application.
  • Why don’t you sign submissions on state portals with an e-citizen and what is needed for this.
  • How can you send electronically signed documents to the state using a mobile phone in some cases, even if it is not yet possible via the institution’s website or its services.
  • Why the state still hasn’t released the source codes for the e-citizen desktop application.

The Ministry of the Interior already allows programmers to use the new Slovak identity cards with a contactless chip for electronic signing in their applications. It made available to them the necessary technical base for communication with the card on mobile platforms. It is also available for commercial use.

The first software manufacturer has already used the innovation and made available a solution for creating an electronic signature of the highest security level – a qualified electronic signature (KEP) – only with the help of attaching a new e-citizen to the mobile device.

Warning To Investors About Zuckerbergs Martial Arts Hobby

Zuckerberg and some other managers engaged in “high-risk activities such as martial arts, extreme sports and recreational flying” that could “lead to serious injury and death,” Meta noted in the detailed report for last year published over the weekend.

It is the first time that the Facebook Group has included such a reference to its boss’s hobbies in its usual risk warnings for investors. As before, Meta also emphasized that if Zuckerberg were no longer available for whatever reason, this would have “significant negative consequences” for the business.

Zuckerberg has control over Meta thanks to shares with more voting rights than ordinary investors – and still has a leading role in determining the company’s strategy. Meta has billions of users on its services such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
