A Hungarian man was arrested in Myanmar on the basis of an international arrest warrant. The man was wanted by the police for sexual violence because he harassed the little daughter of an acquaintance two years ago: after learning that the prosecution would sentence him to 9 years in prison, he fled abroad in the summer, RTL reports.
The man who ran away from the court to Asia to start a new life was brought home wrapped in a blanket. Years ago, the man befriended a colleague at work and visited him and his family several times. After that, he gained the confidence of his colleague’s little daughter, she discussed all her joys and sorrows with the man, and called him father several times, said Péter László Hajnal, spokesman of the Pest County Prosecutor’s Office.
At that time, the man lived in Monoro, he slept several times with his colleague in the guest room, on one such occasion the little girl snuggled into the bed next to him. The man then sexually assaulted her after the parents found out, leading to an investigation and then charges against him. According to his lawyer, the man acted recklessly, according to the lawyer, after learning that he would be sentenced to 9 years in prison for his actions. He sold his serfs and properties and went to Fiji, where he wanted to open a motel to transport guests on a boat.
The ship, however, ran aground, then continued on and reached Myanmar. However, he was hospitalized here, so it turned out that he was being circled. According to the lawyer, the man came home sick to Hungary because, according to his claim, there were 80 people in a cell in Myanmar and they drank rusty water. The court ordered his arrest.
