Princess Elisabeth’s Bags: Style & Photos

From a bag from a Belgian brand to the iconic Lady Dior: these bags received the royal approval of Princess Elisabeth of Belgium.

Princess Elisabeth’s most beautiful bags

Princess Elisabeth of Belgium has become increasingly noticeable in recent months because of her style. For example, she appeared during the enthronement in Luxembourg this year in a beautiful silver-colored dress full of sequins and beads, and she wore an outfit by Victoria Beckham during King’s Day in Belgium. The bags she carries also attract attention.

Clutch in different colors

The Belgian royal likes to opt for a clutch. Perhaps quite impractical for most of us; what actually fits in it, and how convenient is it to have to hold it all day? However, princesses and queens opt for this surprisingly often – they can of course take the heavy items in the carriage, car with driver or to the court. Anyway, a favorite brand of the royal is Giorgio Armani. According to the royalty watchers of UFO No More she reportedly owns four clutches from the fashion house, in various colors such as black, pink and blue. With the pink copy, which you also see below, the princess went to the wedding of the Crown Prince of Jordan in 2023.

Witte raffiatas

Princess Elisabeth also has several clutches from milliner Fabienne Delvigne, which she often matches to the color of her headgear. In pink, red and green, for example. We saw the pink version on her arm during the Belgian King’s Day of 2024. Halfway through the day she exchanged this bag for a more practical bag: a white raffia bag from Sézane. That bag was later also spotted on the arm of Queen Mathilde, during a state visit to Costa Rica.

Iconic bag

The princess’s most iconic bag is probably the Lady Dior bag. Although the bag actually comes from her mother’s closet, we saw the princess in the summer of 2025 during a working visit to a hospital with a white Lady Dior bag with silver-colored closures. And, shockingly to many, at one point she put that bag on the floor instead of on the table. A mortal sin, if you ask us. You can see the bag (and this moment) in the slides below.
