Rodri looked in pain and his face was disappointed. Just recovered from a long ACL injury and made him absent throughout the 2024/25 season yesterday, Rodri was in pain again.
Reported from BBCRodri is known to experience muscle injury. The Spaniard will pull over for two or three weeks.
“There is a problem in his muscles. Of course, we don’t want to lose Rodri anymore because he is an important player in the team. We have tried to protect him, but this is what happened,” said Man City manager, Pep Guardiola.
Rodri himself admitted that there was a problem in the area near Hamstring. There is pain, but not too severe.
“There is a little pain, but it doesn’t seem too bad. It feels like a pain last season, but the most important thing is not too severe,” said the 29 -year -old player.
Rodri is still a mainstay of Pep Guardiola to maintain the Manchester City midfield. Although there are already new players like Nico Gonzalez, Mateo Kovacic, Kalvin Philips, to Matheus Nunes, Rodri’s role seems to have not been replaced.
