In June, we wrote in these columns that the Le Relief cinema site, in the South Sélestat activity zone, should no longer be delayed. A date was also advanced for the passage of the security committee – August 25 – suggesting an opening a few days later.
It was without counting the vagaries of an extraordinary project which has known its share of surprises in recent years. Why has the security commission not gone late August? “We were not ready,” said Jean-Philippe Hochwelker, project leader.
However, the site is not stopped, as was mentioned during a meeting organized on Wednesday September 24 with Citivia (South ZA developer) and the municipality.
Last screens
Last week, a publication on social networks reported the progress of the installation of the seats in one of the small rooms. “The audio part is over, as well as the light,” says the project leader. As for the screens, so that they are not soiled by dust, they are laid last.
Work remains to be done in the cinema reception hall. “We advance,” says Jean-Philippe Hochwelker. And we push for this to be done as quickly as possible. Moreover, a new passage from the Security Commission, in a few weeks, was requested.
