Jonatan Christie stepping into the semifinals Korea Open 2025. He passed after winning two direct games with a convincing score of the Japanese representative, Kenta Nishimoto.
In the quarterfinal match at Suwon Gymnasium, Suwon, Friday (9/26/2025) afternoon WIB, Jonatan won 21-14, 21-8 over Nishimoto. He took 39 minutes to end the seventh seed resistance.
Jonatan immediately speeded with a 7-0 lead over Nishimoto at the beginning of the first game. Since then, he has continued to keep his distance from the opponent.

Winning 17-10, Jonatan continued to advance and secure the first game 21-14. In the second game, Jonatan’s dominance continues.
Jonatan won eight consecutive points to win 9-1 over Nishimoto. The placement of the balls from Jonatan several times outwitted the Japanese player.
Jonatan continued to move away 13-2 from Nishimoto. Jonatan got a match point after Smes Nishimoto failed to cross the net and he locked the 21-8 victory.
Passing to the Korean Open 2025 semifinals, Jonatan will face the winners of the match between Alwi Farhan and Weng Hong Yang (China).
