MADBURY, N.H. (Gray News) – A mother posted on TikTok before killing her husband, two children and then herself, according to authorities.
Emily Long, 34, allegedly shot 48-year-old Ryan Long, 8-year-old son Parker and 6-year-old daughter Ryan before killing herself on Aug. 18.
Ryan Long died from multiple gunshots and the two children died from a single gunshot, according to a press release from the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
According to WMUR, Emily Long posted about her husband’s brain cancer diagnosis on TikTok. She often discussed the stress and grief she and her family had struggled with since Ryan Long’s diagnosis, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.
The account was made private after the shootings.
Investigators have asked the public not to speculate about what happened.
“While investigators are becoming aware of various concerns/issues ongoing in the household at the time of the event in question, people should avoid speculating that this event was caused by a single reason or stressor,” the press release said.
A toddler was found unharmed in the home.
