Microsoft intends to cut about 9 thousand jobs, in what would be the second large wave of layoffs of this year, aimed at containing the costs of the company. Bloomberg reports it, which underlines how it is – as reported by a spokesperson for the company – of a number of less than 4% of the total workforce of the company.
“We continue to implement the organizational changes necessary to better position the company and the teams for success in a dynamic market,” said the spokesman mentioned by Bloomberg. The layoffs follow a previous return of cuts that had taken place in May, which had affected about 6 thousand employees.
