Alonso was not hidden that Juventus was close to signing him on two different occasions, but the two deals were not completed, one of which was previously joining Liverpool, and the second before moving to Real Madrid.
“I was about to join Juventus twice, but in the end I went to Liverpool and then Madrid,” Alonso says, as if he was telling a lost love story.
