Vladimir Putin apparently plans a major offensive in eastern Ukraine. Pictures of a Russian tank train that is supposed to operate in Donbass go well with this.

Donbass – The commander -in -chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, Oleksandr Syrskyj, urgently warns of the next major offensive of the invasion of the Russia in the bloody Ukraine war.

Ukraine War: Vladimir Putin is said to plan a major offensive on Donbass bastion Pokrowsk

Like the general and confidante of the Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj of the online newspaper Kyiv Independent told, Moscow powerkeeper Vladimir Putin is said to have brought up to 110,000 soldiers before the heavily contested Donbass bastion of Pokrowsk.

Syrskyj warned that the Russian army in the east of Ukraine beyond Pokrowsk could advance into the adjacent region of Dnipropetrovsk. It would be the sixth Ukrainian region on the mainland, in which Russian soldiers were standing according to Kharkiw, Donetsk, Luhansk, Saporischschja and Cherson. Images that the state Russian news agency Ria Novosti spread over the weekend.

Did Vladimir Putin send a armored train? The focus is on Pokrowsk in the Ukraine War

Putin’s Russia regime has four armored trains, the “Volga”, the “Amur”, the “Baikal” and the “Jenissei”. All of them are named after large waters of the Russian Federation. According to Ukrainian military bloggers (see posting above), the latter tank train should be shown in the current photos. The Jenisei is a 3487 kilometer -long electricity in Siberia. Russian bloggers complained that the martial train of the same name is in the direction of Pokrowsk. For the Donbass bastion, the front section of which the Russian chief of staff Waleri Gerassimow recently examined because Putin should not be satisfied with the progress there.

Other bloggers, on the other hand, wrote about an exercise. Significant: In Donbass, many train routes are said to be destroyed after years of war. Since July 2024, the former mining city has been affected by the battles in Donbass with former more than 50,000 inhabitants. Since February, more and more Russian associations from various directions have been moving up to Pokrowsk. So far, the alleged goal of the Russian army has not succeeded.

Russian armored train Vladimir Putins: armed with very old guns

Nevertheless, Russian troops avoided the city south and are now on the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region. Syrskyj spoke of a symbolic goal of the Moscow circle around Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrow to penetrate this carbon. The “Jenissei” tank train mentioned could also have a symbolic value, and its actual clout is considered very questionable in all the martial pictures. The widespread screenshots show a very old BMP-2 shooter tank and a very old 23 mm flight defense cannon SU-23, which are probably used to defend the train.

The twin guns of the Su-23 anti-aircraft gun have been reported to have a manageable distance of 1.5 kilometers. They used to be designed for deep -flying fight helicopters and earth fighting aircraft. But not for the defense against modern air-floor rockets with infrared search head or against agile and very fast combat drones such as the HX-2 from German armaments production.

Vladimir Putin’s armored train: Easy destination for Ukrainian Kamikaze drones?

The BMP-2 can only shoot forward rigidly, which extremely limits the probability of the hits of alleged goals. So there is only propaganda behind the report of Ria Novosti? Speculation. According to the online portal Defense Express (DE), the armored train can only drive 35 to 40 km/h fast, which makes it easy for Kamikaze drones.

On the other hand, it has been handed down: while Ukraine receives modern armored vehicles “Hermelin”, Putin’s Russian soldiers even have to go to the front with “piercing pig”. Should the “Jenisei” be much more a public diversion maneuver? (pm)
