Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly looking to assist Lyon, who are facing potential relegation due to financial difficulties. The proposed solution involves PSG accelerating the remaining payments for the transfer of Bradley Barcola.
Lyon is facing sanctions from the National Management Control Directorate (DNGC), which oversees the finances of French professional football clubs. The DNGC has threatened to relegate the seven-time ligue 1 champions due to a debt of 175 million euros.
According to RMC Sport, PSG intends to help lyon by expediting the payment of the remaining funds owed for the transfer of Bradley Barcola.

PSG acquired Barcola from Lyon in the summer of 2023 for 45 million euros, with an additional 5 million euros in potential bonuses, totaling the equivalent of Rp 948 billion.
PSG plans to complete the remaining payments and bonus disbursements imminently.
It is hoped that this financial injection will provide Lyon with a chance to remain in ligue 1. The club intends to appeal the DNGC’s decision and demonstrate its financial stability.
Bradley Barcola has become a key player for PSG, contributing considerably to their domestic title wins and their Champions League victory last season. He has scored 21 goals and provided 20 assists in 60 appearances across all competitions.
