Various alternative nutritional forms (AE) are first presented in the special contribution. Your practical implementation is then illuminated before a nutritional evaluation is carried out. It shows that some extreme shapes – such as macrobiotics – have long -term negative effects on health. Other AE also contain potential risks for nutrient supply and thus for growth, especially for vulnerable groups such as children or pregnant women. However, there are also nutritional forms that can be practiced without health disadvantages and even have positive effects on health. In addition, the article offers insights into less common but historically interesting nutrition concepts of past decades.
