A devastating house fire in Croydon, Sydney, has led to the arrest of a 50-year-old man accused of murdering his 80-year-old father. Emergency services responded to the blaze on Irrara Street just after 4am on Wednesday.
Fire and Rescue crews arrived to find the house engulfed in flames. After extinguishing the fire, they discovered the body of 80-year-old Ted grantham, a local pastor, inside the destroyed residence.
