Iran Collapsed Is Israel’s Illusion: Mujtaba Khamenei
Tehran: Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei said that Iran’s collapse is an illusion of Israel.
He said this in a message to the people on Iran’s television channel State Television as part of Nowruz celebrations, the Persian New Year.
He said that the United States and Israel are conducting attacks based on the illusion that they can overthrow the Iranian government by killing senior leaders.
He praised the Iranian people for building a nationwide defense line in cities, borders and mosques. He added that this dealt a surprise blow to the enemy, whereby they fell into contradictory and illogical statements.
Iran’s supreme leader said that the enemies who wished to eliminate Iran in a day or two attack had been defeated and their calculations were wrong.
At the same time, he rejected the allegation that Iran had attacked Turkey and Oman. He opined that this is propaganda by the US and Israel to create a rift between countries that are friendly with Iran.
In his New Year message, he said that Pakistan and Afghanistan should withdraw from conflicts. He said that the two countries should maintain good relations and addressed both the countries as brotherly countries.
So far, the West Asian conflicts have not reached a consensus. Israel’s attack on Iran’s gas fields has had major global consequences.
Tensions in the region escalated following the unilateral attack by Israel and the United States on February 28 against Iran. About 1,300 people were reportedly killed in the attack, including Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
