Job Description Summary: The Development Fellow for Annual Giving position will strategically manage a prospect list, handle a limited portfolio of donor prospects, and provide reporting to the Athletics Development team. They will ensure up-to-date prospect information is obtained, assign donors based on philanthropic requests, and personally engage in donor acquisition. This is a fixed term position beginning on/around August 3, 2026 and concluding July 31, 2027.

Essential Functions: Effectively engage potential donors, building rapport and identifying their philanthropic interests through outbound & inbound phone calls. Manage a limited portfolio of donor prospects. Achieve a delivery goal of 25, $50,000 proposals for the fiscal year; develop proposals tailored to individual donor interests. Annual Giving Tracking/Prospecting Efforts: Prospect event lists and games; share assigned prospects with appropriate calling officers and connect with unassigned prospects. Manage monthly new donor assignments to ensure all donors have an individual calling representative. Perform weekly leadership giving reporting and distribution. Assist with donor events & game day hospitality as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Bachelors Degree Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva Ability to maintain confidential information Ability to organize workflow, manage resources, and coordinate activities Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing; strong interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with all members of a diverse community to manage a variety of tasks and projects with follow through and completion in a timely manner.
