The launch of the Dacia Bigster model significantly increased the company’s sales, which led to the price of the car. Such a model starts at 23,000 euros.
Two other models, Duster and Jogger, suffered due to the new model’s rise in popularity.

Frank Marotte, Dacia’s head of sales and marketing starting in 2025, spoke about the success that the Dacia Bigster model brought to the company, also bringing “a dramatic success to the company”, according to profit.ro. It says some of the Bigster’s customers may have come from the other two models, Duster and Jogger, given the declines.
“We don’t have the calculations done, it’s too early since the launch of Bigster on the market, we have to do all the analyzes regarding the degree of cannibalization between Dacia models. Jogger did not have the best result, with -23.6%, but managed to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction. Without the Bigster sales, we wouldn’t have grown this year. That is directly related to the size of the retail market. Because in terms of performance, our market share across all channels increased slightly by 0.1%“, he said, according to the aforementioned source.

At the same time, Bigster, in its first year of existence, managed to save the final results, with more than 67,000 units sold, leading to an increase of about 3 percent for Dacia in 2025, with a total volume sold of 697,000 vehicles, i.e. an increase of about 21,000 vehicles compared to 2024.
The Dacia Bigster is the new C-segment SUV, positioned above the Duster, offering generous interior space, robust design and efficient hybrid/LPG engines.
