Both sellers, buyers and users must be knowledgeable. The rodenticide expertise certificate is tied to the person who completed the training. It is irrelevant whether it is the manager, an employee or a family member. What matters is that whoever purchases, stores or uses the product must be competent. Storage is also legally considered “use”.
When registering for the course, it is checked whether the person attending the course is also using the ID card for professional purposes. If a knowledgeable person uses the ID card for several companies, providing one company number is sufficient.
Farmers are seen as professional users.
No ID card can be issued to private individuals (without an LFBIS number/UID number). The affected products were never approved for private use.
