A gesture dictated by altruism is the one seen in Bologna manager of a newsagent give away a jacket, a hat and a pair of gloves to a woman in difficulty who did not have suitable clothing to protect herself from the cold of these days. He had neither money nor food.A simple act but full of solidarity and empathy towards others. A story with a happy ending in perfect Christmas atmosphere. The report reached the local police
It was last Friday when the Local Police Radio Operations Center, around 11 am, received a phone call from the bus station staff reporting a person in difficulty. The patrol intervened immediately on the spot. Officers found a 65-year-old woman wearing just a fleece without any jacket and he had no money or food. With him he only had a backpack and a suitcase, as well as a ticket for a bus to Lecce but he had missed the connection.

The arrival of 118 who visited the woman
The woman, speaking to the officers, declared that she has been in a state of poverty since her husband died and that she is in the care of social services. At that point the patrol suffered activated on 118 who, once arrived, visited the lady on site, declaring her good health.

In the meantime, social services have been notified, while the manager of the newsagent at the bus station, in consideration of the temperatures of the period, has gave the 65-year-old a jacket, a hat and a pair of gloves. The social services, having arrived at the bus station, then decided to pay the lady for the ticket to return to her home abroad.
