On the screen a city of Brest who offers his finest attires to the spectators, filmed under the sky last summer. Drone views of the city center, wide shots of the harbor, including from the central “police station” of this fiction which relocates it to the Plouzané side, for a full-frame view of the narrows. Stéphane Kappes, the director, readily admits his pleasure in filming “in this cinematic city”.
The three main actresses, Deborah Krey, Charlotte Gaccio and Garance Thénault also made the trip on Tuesday December 16… And for good reason: none of the three had yet seen the finished product, having agreed to come back and discover it with the people of Brest. Pierre Pouchairet was a step ahead of his three Brestoises… and seemed entirely satisfied: “An adaptation is always something else. But there, I find the spirit of the book! ».
