Fantasy Football: Pool Players to Pick Up | Week [Current Week]

by Archynetys World Desk

Casey DeSmith, Dallas Stars (W) – DeSmith plays behind an excellent lineup, but he finds a way to do well while his statistics compare favorably to those of Dallas number one, Jake Oettinger. DeSmith is 4-1-2 with a 2.22 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage with a shutout, while Oettinger is 9-4-2 with a 2.72 GAA and .902 save percentage. The 34-year-old veteran hasn’t lost in regulation time since October 16, his last six starts, and during that stretch, he has never given up more than three goals in a single game. The Stars will be in action four times this week, with a stretch of two games in two nights. Dallas’ opponents include two teams, the Utah Mammoth and Seattle Kraken, who are averaging just two goals per game over their last five and four outings, respectively. DeSmith is likely to see action at least once, maybe twice, and poolers looking to boost their numbers in net would be wise to look at him.
