An impressive visual experience
Alaska from. When the prisoners escape, a merciless manhunt begins. This brutal starting point immediately creates intense tension – you can literally feel it in front of the screen.
The snowy landscapes of Alaska create a dark, haunting atmosphere. The cold acts like a character in itself and is just one of many dangers. In view of the vast, untouched nature, the feeling of isolation and constant threat increases.
Filmed around Montreal and in the vast landscapes of the Capitale-Nationale region, the series harnesses the power of these natural settings with impressive precision. Cameramen like Bernard Couture, Patrick Murguia, Giorgio Scali and Michael Carraciolo give the series a distinctly cinematic aesthetic, characterized by elaborate action scenes. This creates an intense, almost physically tangible viewing experience in which every shot reinforces the fight for survival.
