thin eyebrowsvery popular in the 90s. Even Lena Situations, star of social networks, succumbed to this retro style. “Girls, if you need a sign to pluck your thin eyebrows, I’ll give it to you.”she assures in a video shared on her TikTok account.
Thin eyebrows: a comeback in 2026?
Popularized by icons like Gwyneth Paltrow, Winona Ryder and Jennifer Aniston, thin eyebrows were distinguished by their carefully plucked, often very arched line. Today, this 90s fashion is slowly resurfacing. “Already, I can reassure you, it’s growing back”says the young influencer.
Before adding: “And above all, it opens your eyes. You can do cut creases that you couldn’t do before. It didn’t have the same effect (…). I tried the adventure and I don’t understand
why didn’t I do it sooner. It gives you a little boost of personal confidence, that little magic recipe that you ultimately needed. And if I could, I would make it a little thinner and maybe a little straighter.”
A trend that is not unanimous
For those who don’t yet dare to get started and are afraid of regretting, Lena Situations reveals a simple tip: use a Snapchat filter to see the result before even touching your tweezers. “I found a single filter that only removes a few strips of your eyebrows and doesn’t change your entire face”she slips. That’s exactly what she did, and it convinced her to take the plunge.
