49 inches versus 75 inches – it’s like switching from a cargo bike to a truck. The moment we brought the TV colossus into the living room was impressive and intimidating at the same time. Just unpacking it was a real experience. The box? Gigantic. For a moment I felt like a child at Christmas – except that it’s better to open this “present” with two people.
This leaves you speechless: Compared to the Hisense QLED E7Q PRO, my old flickering box looks like a puny PC monitor!
The construction was surprisingly uncomplicated. Screw the feet tight, plug it in, switch it on – it works. And when the huge panel lit up for the first time, I knew: This is a completely different caliber than my old 49-inch laptop.
Luckily I have a relatively large couch, which made it easier for me to set up this TV colossus.
In terms of design, the Hisense QLED E7Q PRO is really impressive. Thin edges, a slim base made of plastic with a brushed metal look and the overall slim profile ensure a modern look. And this difference in size – crazy! At first I thought that was too much. But after just a weekend with Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Star Wars: Andor Season 2, I never wanted to go back.

The Hisense runs on that in-house operating system VIDAA, and I like that extremely much. No overloaded menus, no unnecessary loading times. Everything is clearly structured and responds quickly. Switching between apps works smoothly, which is a real plus when switching quickly between different streaming platforms.
Speaking of streaming: The E7Q PRO really delivers here – Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV, YouTube and Co. are all ready to go. DAZN and Joyn are of course also involved. Particularly practical: The remote control has its own buttons for the most important apps. And if you like, you can also operate the television particularly conveniently using voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant.

It’s been a long time since my jaw dropped when I started a new game – but with the Hisense QLED E7Q PRO and Assassin’s Creed Shadows it was finally that time again.
Now comes the most exciting part for me and probably for you too – the gaming skills. The Hisense QLED E7Q PRO has everything you need for gaming at the highest level: HDMI 2.1, 144 Hz, VRR, GENERAL – and all of this in a visually stunning TV that doesn’t cost you a literal fortune.
But what does that mean specifically?

The forests and fields of feudal Japan, the morning play of light in gentle rain, the ornate temples and falling cherry blossoms – all of this simply looks much more intense on a 75-inch screen diagonal. No input lag, no trailing effects, no tearing. Simply fluid, immersive gaming.

This is particularly practical Game Bar, which shows you the current FPS and the selected HDR mode. The E7Q PRO also supports AMD FreeSync Premium, which ensures smooth movements without tearing, especially in fast games. If you want, you can also quickly change settings here without having to go to the main menu. A real plus point in terms of comfort for gamers.

Of course, the television is not just intended for gaming – film and series lovers are also royally served with this TV. The QLED display ensures strong colors, deep contrasts and high brightness. Especially in combination with HDR formats like Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and HLG Contents unfold their full glory.
For the test, I took two of my absolute favorite strips, which also pull out all the stops when it comes to effects: Star Wars: Rogue One and Dune: Part Two. Both in Filmmaker Modewhich disables all image enhancers and shows the material as it was intended. No immersion-destroying soap opera effect, no artificial sharpening, no bright colors – instead a real cinema feeling.
Thanks to the gigantic screen diagonal of 75 inches, the actors’ facial features and facial expressions are shown even better – you can even see the individual raindrops on Krennic’s uniform!
In Rogue One Above all, there are the dark, rainy scenes on Eadu as well as – as a strong contrast – the tropical beaches of Scarif are impressively showcased. The final scene with Darth Vader will also remain unforgettable. On the Hisense QLED E7Q PRO she pressed me into the sofa just like she did in the cinema seat. Space battles also seem very vivid and blaster fire and explosions really pop.
At Dune 2 again inspires them beautiful color palette: Beige sand tones on Arrakis, the green gardens in the Emperor’s palace, the black sun on Giedi Prime – everything appears extremely atmospheric. The combination of QLED and HDR delivers a real blockbuster feeling with goosebumps guaranteed!
Also at Upscaling the Hisense does a good job. Old series on Blu-ray or Full HD look much sharper without seeming exaggerated. The motion display is also great – no jerks, no artifacts.

Conclusion: A real price-performance hit
The Hisense QLED E7Q PRO really blew my socks off. For a relatively low price, you get a huge, colorful QLED panel with modern features, future-proof gaming performance and a super-intuitive user interface. Whether films, series or games – everything simply seems bigger, more intense, more real.
Especially as a gamer, you will notice the difference immediately: Smoother gameplay, lower latency, crisper details – this is exactly what gaming should look like on the big screen. And film fans are happy about it HDR, Dolby Vision, Filmmaker Mode and rich colors!
