germany’s total installed solar capacity has reached approximately 104 gigawatts (GW). This capacity is distributed across various installations:
- Residential Roofs: Approximately 38%
- Commercial Roofs: Around 29%
- Open Spaces: Roughly 32%
- Balconies: Nearly 1%

Currently, around 870,000 balcony power plants are operational, with approximately 81,000 new registrations in the first quarter of the year. This growth is expected to continue, with projections indicating that the number of registered balcony power plants could reach one million by summer.
