The IES Seven hills image and sound department is expanding its educational offerings with a new higher degree in 3D animation, games, and interactive environments, set to launch in the 2025-2026 academic year.

This new program complements the existing Disc-Jockey and Sound video degree, which will continue to be offered in the afternoon. Registration for both programs begins on Monday, June 16, and will remain open until July 3.

The center is encouraging young people with an interest in audiovisuals, music, video games, or digital animation to apply and receive training that combines theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and direct engagement with the professional world through company internships.

Career Opportunities

Both the new and existing programs are designed to prepare students for in-demand professions. Graduates of the Disc-Jockey and Sound video program can pursue careers as sound technicians, Disc-Jockey Professionals, radio cabin operators, microfonists, or light-jockeys. The new higher degree aims to equip students for roles such as 2D and 3D animators, special effects technicians, multimedia integrators, interactive content editors, and digital graphists.

The provisional lists of admitted and excluded applicants will be published on July 10. Applicants can submit claims from July 11 to 14, and the final list will be released on July 17. The registration period will run from July 18 to 25.
