But now you can set the priority of notifications. Just click on the group, choose Notifications and tap Notify on. Here, switch to Selection, whereupon you will receive a notification only if you are mentioned or someone responds to your messages.

However, iPhones already offer a direct scan option, which is, however, somewhat hidden. In the conversation, you must first click on the plus icon, then click on Document, and then select the Scan document menu. Subsequently, the scan interface will be displayed, which will automatically capture the document and offer you the option to crop it.

Text formats

Some words sometimes need emphasis. This is also why WhatsApp knows how to format text. If you want bold text, put an asterisk before and after it, for example *like this*. For italics, use an _underline_ in the same way, and for strikethrough text, put the text ~between tildes~. If you want to use a fixed-width font in the text, enclose it on both sides with three backslashes like “`text”`. To add a bulleted list to your message, place an asterisk or hyphen and a space before each word or sentence, such as * text or – text. For a numbered list, just start with 1 with a period. Mark the quote: > text and code `text`.
