On Monday, the comment procedure for the list of 120 cadastral territories for the start of land adjustments for the year 2026 began. The document of the Ministry of Agriculture can be commented on until December 19, 2025.
According to the Department of Agriculture, the list of cadastral territories is processed based on the proven urgency of carrying out land improvements for their start in 2026. The estimated need for funds is calculated at 60 million euros including VAT. In the material, the Ministry of Agriculture emphasizes that during the average duration of the land reclamation process of 5-7 years, this amount will be drawn gradually after the stages and complete parts of the land reclamation project have been handed over.
„With the average length of the preparatory procedure for land improvements of about 4-6 months and the length of public procurement at least another 6 months, as well as the public procurement procedure, it is possible to assume that the first use of financial resources in 120 selected cadastral territories will only take place in 2032.” warns the ministry.
The task of preparing the list of cadastral territories follows from the resolution of the Government of the Slovak Republic dated August 21, 2019. In the approved material, it was determined that the list of cadastral territories will be prepared by an interdepartmental commission according to established criteria.
In November, the agricultural sector informed that it had entrusted the Chamber of Land Improvements of the Slovak Republic with the organization of professional training for obtaining authorization to design land improvements for natural persons. The professional training was supposed to last 120 hours and take place from November 10 to December 3.
