Jeep has released a new image showcasing the sixth generation Cherokee, maintaining interest in the upcoming model. The image focuses on the rear of the vehicle, highlighting the LED lights that extend into the rear wings with a combination of vertical and horizontal segments.
This design reinforces the return to straight lines, both in the front and rear of the vehicle.The new Cherokee will be built on the Stellantis Stla Large platform, accommodating various powertrain options, including traditional internal combustion engines, hybrids, and fully electric systems.
While not yet confirmed, experts anticipate an electric Cherokee variant perhaps featuring a dual-engine power plant similar to the Wagoneer S, producing 608 hp and 836 nm, paired with a 100.5 kilowatt-hour traction battery.
A potential fuel engine option is the three-liter six-cylinder Hurricane unit, delivering up to 510 hp.
Jeep has previously stated that the new Cherokee will “redefine the most popular vehicle segment in North American, offering medium -sized SUV customers a new, efficient and powerful hybrid drive capability without excluding an electric car variant.”
