Will the mayor of Lima resign to run for President?
The deputy mayor of Lima, Renzo Reggiardo, spoke about the possibility that the capital’s mayor, Rafael Lopez Aliagaresign from his position to run for the Presidency of the Republic in the General Elections 2026. This Sunday, in statements to the press, Reggiardo commented on this possibility:
” Those are topics that Much has already been said. We are an army, I say it with all the sincerity in the world. The people who have been with me from the beginning and whoever is speaking, I am part of an administration and I cannot interfere in a space that does not belong to me,”Indian.
