There will be a state election on March 8, 2026
in Baden-Württemberg.
This day is also called: election day.

You have 2 options:

1. You choose am Election day.
   You do this in the voting room.
   Or:
2. You choose before election day.
   For example at home.
   This is called: postal voting.

How to vote in the polling station
To vote in the polling station you need:

• Your choice notification and
• Your ID card.

This will take you to the voting room.
You will get the ballot papers there.

There are also election workers in the voting room.
They can help you choose.

How to vote by postal vote
Vote by postal vote,

• if you don’t have time on election day.
• if you don’t go to the polling station
  can go.

There is an application for postal voting.
The application is on the back
of the election notification.
It’s called: Ballot slip application.

This is important:
Complete the application.
Sign the application.
And write the date.
Submit the application to the election office.
Or send the application by post.

You will then receive the ballot papers in the mail.
