world Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is considering a change to its annual Draft, potentially scheduling teh event for September 2025, deviating from its usual post-WrestleMania timeframe.

Instead of the spring schedule, plans suggest the WWE Draft will occur in September, according to Bodyslam.net. This adjustment may align with the season premiere episodes of RAW and SmackDown.

“The last I heard about the WWE Draft was that they have been considering doing it post-SummerSlammost likely as a tie-in to the season premiere episodes in September,” the report states.

This potential shift reflects WWE’s ongoing experimentation with roster management. In late 2024, a “transfer window” replaced the traditional Draft, enabling talent movement between brands. This resulted in appearances from names like Logan Paul and The Wyatt Sicks, alongside NXT call-ups such as Roxanne Perez, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia.

“With the recent call-ups, there hasn’t been a real reason to now reshuffle the rosters.”

The WWE has adjusted the Draft schedule in recent years. While most occurred in the first half of the year, 2019, 2020, and 2021 saw October Drafts.the 2016 Draft took place in July.

With RAW, SmackDown, and NXT rosters closely linked, a fall Draft could provide clarity for the remainder of 2025.
