More than 1,400 doses were administered. Children and teenagers under 15 can update their vaccination records until October 31st

The Municipality of Leme, through the Department of Health, informs about the National Campaign to Update the 2025 Vaccination Booklet.

The Ministry of Health is promoting the multi-vaccination campaign to check Vaccination Records and update them with missing doses for children under 15 years of age. All vaccines in the National Vaccination Calendar and current campaigns will be carried out, including Influenza and Covid-19. In the state of São Paulo alone, the campaign’s target audience exceeds nine million people.

The initiative follows some guidelines, such as vaccination in schools, active search for unvaccinated people by health professionals, vaccination in any contact with the health service, extramural vaccination in urban or difficult-to-access areas.

“The objective, established by the Ministry of Health, is to reach 95% vaccination coverage. Extramural actions and alternative times are essential to achieve the objective and facilitate access to the population”, highlighted Fabiana Giassi Bertogna, Head of the Epidemiological Surveillance Center of the Department of Health. “To carry out the update, simply go to the vaccination room closest to your home, taking your CPF and vaccination card”, concluded Fabiana.

Campaign D-Day:

On October 18th, Saturday, the “D” Day of the campaign took place, where the 11 vaccination rooms were open from 8am to 4pm. In total, 1,406 (one thousand, four hundred and six) doses of various vaccines were administered, with the most applied being Flu (455 doses) and Dengue (337 doses).

“We consider it an excellent support for the campaign, especially “D” day, which took place on a Saturday, a day when many people have more time available to attend the vaccination rooms”, highlights Fabiana Giassi Bertogna, Head of the Leme Epidemiological Surveillance Center.

In Leme, all 11 vaccination rooms are prepared for the campaign, open from Monday to Friday, from 7am to 5pm, as follows:

– PSM Ariana

PSM João Leme

– PSM Sumaré

– USF Palmeiras

– USF Primavera

– USF Quail

– USF Renaissance

– USF São Manoel

Children and adolescents under 15 years of age can update their vaccination records until October 31st.
