For the first time as 2022, nine Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) baseball teams have been selected to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, which begins on Friday, May 30. This marks the 21st consecutive season that the ACC has secured at least six teams in the NCAA tournament, and the sixth straight season with at least eight teams making the 64-team field.

Three ACC teams will host regional sites: ACC Champions North Carolina, ACC Tournament runner-up clemson, and Florida State. Each regional will feature four teams playing in a double-elimination format, with all 16 regionals scheduled from Friday, May 30, to Monday, June 2, if necessary.

Florida State will host a regional at Dick Howser Stadium for the 37th time, the most of any school. Florida State will host No. 2 seed Northeastern, No. 3 seed Mississippi State, and No. 4 seed and SWAC Champion Bethune-Cookman, opening against Bethune-Cookman.

The regional format is a double-elimination tournament, with the 16 winning teams advancing to Super Regionals from June 6-8. The top eight teams will host the Super Regionals on-campus in a best-of-three series, with the eight winners advancing to Omaha for the Men’s College World Series.
