The Grammys are music’s biggest night, both literally and figuratively. The ceremony, which takes place in LA on Sunday, spans eight hours, gathering top-tier artists from pop, rock, country, and hip-hop.
Organizers will present 94 awards, covering a wide array of categories, from best pop album to best choral performance.
Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, who are both in the running for album of the year, will grace the red carpet. They last faced off in 2010, with Swift emerging victorious.
The evening will also feature performances from a diverse lineup of artists including Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone, Shakira, Stevie Wonder, Teddy Swims, and Raye. Moreover, there will be an in memoriam tribute to Thriller producer Quincy Jones.
Here’s everything you need to know about the ceremony.

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter celebrates the black roots of country music, though its extended length may affect its chances.
Billie Eilish, with her third album Hit Me Hard and Soft, is a favorite as she continues to evolve her musical style.
Charli XCX’s Brat, a critically acclaimed pop album, might be too edgy for Grammys voters.
Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, despite its commercial success, is considered one of her weaker efforts.
