The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) is preparing to host its 2025 taking Care of Business Conference in Council Bluffs, scheduled for June 10-12. This annual event is designed to gather business professionals and community leaders for a multi-day program focused on innovative ideas, industry insights, and networking opportunities.

Attendees can anticipate a diverse agenda, including specialized breakout sessions and addresses from prominent keynote speakers. This year’s lineup features Michael Happe, president and CEO of Winnebago Industries; Shannon Huffman Polson, founder of The Grit Institute and author of “The Grit Factor”; and Carolyn Lee, president and executive director of The Manufacturing Institute.

A highlight of the conference will be the live announcement of the winner of the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Iowa competition, showcasing the state’s manufacturing prowess.
