More than 10 vehicles, including passenger buses, trucks, minibuses, cars and commercial vehicles, were involved in a chain accident in the Erenler district of the Ankara direction of the highway.
Upon notice, health, fire brigade, police and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
Due to the accident, the Ankara direction of the highway was closed to traffic and long vehicle queues formed in the region.
7 PEOPLE WERE INJURED, TRANSPORTATION STOPPED
According to preliminary findings, 7 people injured in the accident were taken to surrounding hospitals by ambulances.
Teams continue to remove and clean the vehicles involved in the accident.
