Jakarta: Walking regularly every day has many benefits for health. Recent research reveals the right duration as an effort to reduce the risk of mortality.
Based on a journal entitled Daily Walking and Mortality in Racially and Socioeconomics Diversity Us Adult which was deployed by the American Journal of Preventive Medicine which collected data from the Southern Community Cohort Study as many as 85 thousand adults who were mostly low-income and black skin recruited.
The results revealed that walking quickly at least 15 minutes a day was associated with a total decrease in mortality of almost 20%. While only a decrease in mortality by 4% was found related to more than 3 hours slowly running every day.
Walking quickly independently is associated with a decrease in mortality, regardless of the level of physical activity of free time. Walk fast with a clearer decrease in mortality for people with cardiovascular disease.
Participants with initial comorbidity have a greater reduction in risk compared to people who are generally healthy, even though all individuals benefit from running fast.
Walking regularly, especially walking fast, is associated with a decrease in mortality. This finding underlines the importance of promoting fast roads as a decent and effective strategy to improve health outcomes and overcome health gaps among low socioeconomic populations.
