Yanka: Hyper Rap & Spoilsport Style | [Your Site Name]

by drbyos

Yanka, the enfant terrible of hyper rap, returns with an album in the form of an anthem to provocation: Trouble-fête, released on February 27. Entirely produced by King Doudou, this 12-track project stands out as a manifesto that is as festive as it is provocative.

Between club energy and incisive lyrics, the Lyon rapper delivers songs like I’m too chummy, Crazy Bitch or FTGreal anthems to dance, claim and heal both personal and collective flaws. A free, feminist and uncompromising universe, where celebration becomes a political act.

She is now performing in a series of scenes and will also come to the Spot in Nîmes on Friday March 27 in a concert organized by the Boul à facetes association.

At Marion’s microphone, she returns to the genesis of this album, its relationship to commitment, provocation and this hybrid rap that refuses boxes. An artist who is both raw and sensitive and who turns her contradictions into a true creative force.
