T’way Air’s Bold step into the North American Market
In a move signaling ambitious growth, T’way Air has inaugurated its inaugural North American route, connecting Incheon, South Korea, with Vancouver, Canada. This marks a critically important milestone for the low-cost carrier (LCC) as it ventures into long-haul intercontinental flights [[3]].

The Incheon-Vancouver route will be serviced by the Airbus A330-300, offering a total of 347 seats, including a business class section [[2]]. The airline will operate four weekly flights, specifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, catering to both tourists and business travelers.
Flights depart from Incheon International Airport (ICN) at approximately 9:05 PM, arriving at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) around 3:25 PM. The flight duration is approximately 10 hours and 20 minutes. The return flight departs Vancouver at 5:25 PM local time, arriving back in Incheon at 9:35 PM. Vancouver is 16 hours behind Korea.

The A330-300 aircraft deployed on the Vancouver route is designed to enhance passenger comfort,especially on this long-haul flight. The aircraft features a ‘Business Saver Class’ with flatbed seats, adjustable headrests and leg rests, ample legroom, power outlets, and reading lights.
